one at KLBC's studio, 1418 N. First Ave., Durant. The local victor will be
awarded a trophy and go on to compete in the state contest. The prevailing
performer will receive $1,000 and advance to the regional round for a shot at
the national title and $100,000. Due to tremendous response, contestants
will be determined after submitted demos undergo a rigorous screening process
conducted by an impartial panel. A time limit is imposed upon each act to
ensure the show will fit into the 90-minute time slot.
